The weather today is why we brave the winters in MN. When we got to the preschool today Mrs. Rick magically appeared. Anything cool related to FCS can probably trace its roots back to Mrs. Rick. She taught me and many of my current students and retired only a few years ago. She is a legend. She recieved a grant to plant with students at the local preschool we visit every Thursday. We got to put gloves on and dig in the dirt with our kiddos! Happy last day with the preschoolers!

Pasta primavera and ravioli with brand new pasta machines was a hit! Machines were donated to LHS culinary from a neighboring district no longer using them- fellow FCS teachers are the best!

Early Childhood Education students have been learning how to think like a teacher this semester. What do students of different age groups like to do? Read? What do they read? A few weeks ago we combined classes with Ms. Grate's 5th grade English Language class and were able to talk to and read with students. Always love the chance for students to get to see other teachers and different age groups. Thanks for having us Ms. Grates and 5th graders!
