Youth Service II
Youth Service 2 takes the values and experiences from the first semester to the next level. Students will deepen their service involvement through long-term partnerships, advanced leadership roles, and reflective practice. Emphasis will be placed on initiative, independence, and professional growth. Whether students are mentoring peers, or serving community organizations, they’ll be challenged to think critically about their impact, develop real-world skills, and explore potential career paths in service-oriented fields. Leadership, empathy, and purpose are at the heart of this experience—designed for those ready to make lasting change.
Youth Service Independent Study
Designed for students who are passionate about making a difference and ready to take ownership of their service journey. In this flexible, self-directed course, students will design and implement a service plan tailored to their interests, goals, and potential career paths. Whether it's launching a community initiative, diving into nonprofit work, mentoring youth, or exploring service-focused careers, students will develop leadership, project management, and reflective thinking skills. With guidance from the instructor, students will set goals, log service hours, document their experiences, and complete a capstone-style reflection. Creativity, commitment, and compassion are key—this course is for those ready to lead with purpose.
