Tour of Rise and Roam

Child development students took a break from the classroom to play!

Rise and Roam is a local non profit that seeks to build community for parents through providing an indoor play place for kiddos. Students were given a tour of the space and heard from the founder herself. We learned about her background in early childhood education, the value in developmentally appropriate exhibits, career opportunities within the organization and heard her passion for her mission in everything she shared. After sharing and some questions students got to explore the exhibits first hand. Who said high schoolers are too cool? They lied. These kids played hard! So honored to get to teach these kids and live in a community that supports our students so well!
