Child Dev December Update

December is the busiest month for an FCS teacher! All the cookies, extra planning and last stinking second expectations- my silverware disappear and every body needs to borrow a serving spoon or fridge space... it is hectic in my room in the month of December!
I love it!
My child dev students have been put through the wringer these past three weeks but they have handled it all with such grace. Racketball with our DAPE buddies, dance offs then finally cookie decorating. I think there might be a few sad kiddos when the semester change comes in January.
We also started going to a local daycare every Thursday this month. First we read books, then brought games, and last week we made reindeer chow and colored!
We love our buddies at the daycare, middle school and high school and we REALLY love the teachers, staff and community members who partner with us to make these relationships and experiences happen!
